Lavatour horseback riding tour
An adventurous ride from the Íshestar Riding Centre into the lava fields surrounding Mt. Helgafell volcano, or to Lake Hvaleyrarvatn and into the Kaldársel area. Included: horseback riding for ± 1½ hour, riding helmet, rainwear or a warm outfit during the ride, gloves, boots and English speaking guidance. It is possible to make the riding tour in the morning, and have lunch afterwards, or to have lunch first and ride after that, or to go riding only.
Duration : 1½ hrs riding
Departures : 10:00, 14:00, 16:30 daily
